He has taken part in various professional training courses, including "Energy efficiency in buildings and NZEB", "Management tools to support the implementation of Smart Cities strategies", "Solutions for seismic reinforcement in rehabilitation projects and new constructions", "Seismic assessment of unique buildings", among others. He has taken part in various workshops on the themes of adaptation to climate change, the role of ecosystem services and nature-based solutions in urban and rural areas, circular economy, and training in the field of circular businesses and products (Circo Hub Portugal - Designers).

He has been working as an architect since 2006 and has participated, until now, in several architecture, interior, and urbanism projects in different scales and programs. Between 2004 and 2010 he was editor and art director of Archinews Magazine (architecture, interior design, and urbanism), participating in several written articles, interviews with several architects, and conference organization. He has collaborated on architectural and urban planning projects that have won national and international awards.

Effective member of the Portuguese Association of Architects (OA) since 2006. Effective member of the Portuguese Association of Urbanists (APU) and of the College of Urban Architects of the Portuguese Association of Architects (OA) since 2023. Founding member of the National Technical Commission for Standardization - Sustainable Cities and Communities (CT224) - Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ) since 2022.

His work is divided between theory, practice, and research in Architecture, Eco-urbanism, Eco-design, Urban Circularity, and Urban Resilience seeking to respond to the problems that the cities of the future will face, through approaches focused on people, the quality of built environments, the resilience of urban dimensions and regeneration of biophysical characteristics of the territories, at the scale of the building, the neighborhood, and the city. Several texts and projects were published in national and international magazines and books.
